These are from an engagement shoot I did with Amy and Phil from Baton Rouge. Their wedding was scheduled to be held at a beautiful hotel in New Orleans’ French Quarter, and they wanted engagement portraits that reflected their love of the city of New Orleans and of Louisiana culture. We walked around the French Quarter, which is certainly not devoid of picturesque locations, and later we traveled Uptown to get some looks with the famous St. Charles Avenue streetcars. The weather was beautiful, crowds were light, and we had a great time.
The lovely couple also wanted some shots on the campus of Louisiana State University, where they met during their graduate studies. With sucha beautiful campus, it is hard to find a BAD place for photos. I love this place. But then again, I am slightly biased (B.S ’00; M.A. ’06; bleeding Purple and Gold since birth).
Amy went to Kansas before she came to her senses and came to LSU.
